A magnificent undulating mature heathland course set in the heart of the West Midlands. Designed in the late 19th Century by Harry S Colt, one of the most highly regarded course architects of his time, it is widely regarded as one of the finest in the area. One of the leading clubs in the West Midlands.
The mature heathland course was designed by the renowned course architect, H.S.Colt and whilst it is widely acknowledged as a formidable test of golf it is a perfect venue for visitors, societies and corporate golf days. The Club is based on the edge of Sandwell Valley, an area of green belt in the heart of the West Midlands on the border of Birmingham, West Bromwich and Walsall.
It is located within 100 metres of Junction 1 of the M5 motorway and 4.5 miles from Birmingham City Centre; The Hawthorns, home of West Bromwich Albion Football Club, is located just 500 metres away. A traditional members Club which was originally formed as West Bromwich Golf Club in 1895 and moved to its current site at Sandwell Park at Christmas 1897.
Visitors are welcome at Sandwell Park Golf Club throughout the week and will receive a warm reception from all our members. It is a championship course and is situated in the Heart of the West Midlands only 100 yards from M5 Junction 1.
Our catering facility is open daily from 10.00am until just after dark for anyone wishing to purchase a bacon sandwich before their game or to re-fuel after their trials and tribulations around the course. There is also an extensive variety of drinks available from the bar.
