A traditional English mature parkland course measuring 6260 yards from the white tees, par of 70. Bobby Jones visited in 1930 and used the 13th to create the 12th hole at Augusta. Blackwell is ranked the number one course in Worcestershire, 69th in England and is listed in Golf World’s Top 200 Courses in Britain and Ireland.
Blackwell Golf Club was established in 1893. The founders of the club established a constitution and an ethos that has been maintained across the decades. This has produced a true members club that prides itself in extending a warm welcome to new members and visitors alike. If you feel that Blackwell’s traditional, quality-driven approach both on and off the course may suit you, further information on becoming a member can be requested by contacting the Club Manager. Prospective members are invited to send in a handwritten note for the attention of the Club Manager, Peter Lowery, with details about their history - on & off the course – or call him. To ensure that the prospective members obtain a good understanding of Blackwell, applicants are usually invited to play 9-holes with two Committee Members and subsequently may be invited to meet with the membership committee before their application is considered further.
The Clubhouse opens at 8.00am. On Course Etiquette Replacing of divots, repair of pitch marks, raking of bunkers and avoidance of slow play is expected at all times. Parking Visitors and Guests car parking is on the left and signposted as you drive in. On busy days additional overflow parking is made available on the short game practice area.
